The contrast represents opposing emotions, such as beauty and darkness, splendor and loneliness. This work questions the desire for beauty and the void concealed beneath it.
世界最古・最速で知られる犬種、サルーキは、歴史的に美と神秘の象徴です。本シリーズ『Saluki』は、そんなサルーキに、豪華に装飾された口輪を着けさせました。そのコントラストは、美しさと闇、華やかさと孤独、といった相反する感情を象徴しています。この作品は、美しさへの憧れと、その裏に隠された虚無感について問いかけています。
